The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of fosmanogepix (administered IV or oral) for the treatment of adult patients with invasive mold infections. The study is looking for patients who have been diagnosed with invasive mold infections. The maximum study duration will be approximately 8 months, including a target study treatment duration of 84 days which can be extended up to 180 days and follow-up period. The patient will be assigned to one of two treatment cohorts: Cohort A (primary therapy): Patients will receive either the study drug or institutional standard of care antifungal treatment. Cohort B (salvage treatment; i.e. treatment given after patients did not respond to previous treatments or did not tolerate them): Patients will receive the study drug The primary aim is to compare the all cause mortality with a fixed threshold at Day 42. The MS pilot study will assess the safety and investigate the remyelinating effects of the SetPoint System (study device) in adult patients diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS). The SetPoint System is intended for adjunctive use with standard of care therapy for RRMS. The study device contains a miniaturized stimulator (implant) that is surgically placed under general anesthesia on the vagus nerve through a small incision on the left side of the neck (implant procedure). The study will enroll up to 60 participants at up to 10 sites. All eligible participants will undergo the implant procedure. Two-thirds of the participants will receive active stimulation (treatment) and the one-third will receive non-active stimulation (control). Following treatment evaluations at Week 48, there will be a one-way crossover of control subjects to active stimulation and a 48-week open-label follow-up with all subjects (treatment and control) receiving active stimulation to evaluate long-term safety. This phase III trial compares the effect of olaparib for one year versus two years, with or without bevacizumab, for the treatment of BRCA 1/2 mutated or homologous recombination deficient stage III or IV ovarian cancer. Olaparib is a polyadenosine 5'-diphosphoribose polymerase (PARP) enzyme inhibitor and may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Bevacizumab is in a class of medications called antiangiogenic agents. It works by stopping the formation of blood vessels that bring oxygen and nutrients to tumor. This may slow the growth and spread of tumor. Giving olaparib for one year with or without bevacizumab may be effective in treating patients with BRCA 1/2 mutated or homologous recombination deficient stage III or IV ovarian cancer, when compared to two years of olaparib. The purpose of this clinical trial is to study the two main types of approaches used in stroke thrombectomy and to investigate if one approach is more effective than the other, as this is currently not known. This study will be conducted in adults who have been diagnosed with an acute ischemic stroke and who are undergoing a thrombectomy for the treatment of their stroke. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Does the use of a balloon guide catheter versus a conventional guide catheter lower the time needed to restore blood flow in the blocked vessel in the brain - To help researchers better understand the technical, clinical, and procedural outcomes associated with using a balloon guide catheter versus a conventional guide catheter in stroke thrombectomy Participants will be asked to - Share their medical history and imaging data that is collected as part of their routine medical care - Undergo a mechanical thrombectomy as part of their routine medical care - Answer some questions about their neurological functioning at 3 months (90 days) post hospitalization Type: Interventional Start Date: Aug 2025 |

The purpose of the study is to test the hypothesis that functionally navigated repetitive TMS stimulations to the prefrontal cortex (PFC) modulate aberrant cortical electrical activities at PFC circuitry. The TMS location of the PFC site will be individually localized by the symptom-related functional connectivity between PFC and symptom related areas (such as the auditory and language processing cortex). The investigators predict that such modulation will correct abnormal activities in patients with schizophrenia, reduce symptoms, especially auditory hallucination, and improve working memory/sustained attention performance. Acute rejection remains a major cause of morbidity and mortality in pediatric patients after heart transplant. In order to screen for rejection, most centers perform heart catheterizations with endomyocardial biopsies frequently in the first year post transplant and then every 1-2 years thereafter; these biopsies are associated with complications, can cause significant anxiety in patients and family members, and are a significant cost for the healthcare system.
