This study is a randomized, double-blind, placebo and active-controlled, multicenter trial conducted to evaluate whether PP-01 mitigates the withdrawal symptoms associated with discontinuing cannabis in participants with moderate to severe cannabis use disorder (CUD). Study participants will receive PP-01, nabilone, or placebo every day for 34 days. The total study duration will be approximately 78 days, including screening and a one-week inpatient stay. Following the initial inpatient portion of the study, participants will return to the clinic for six clinic visits and complete two telemedicine appointments. Participants will complete daily symptom diaries and other study-related questionnaires. This study will develop novel low intensity focused ultrasound (LIFU) therapy to help people to quit cigarette smoking. Smoking is associated with cancers of the lung. Available smoking cessation methods help many to quit. However, for the many who continue to smoke despite the strong desire to quit and after exhausting existing therapeutic approaches, new treatment methods are needed. Without more effective treatment, many will continue to smoke, and our progress on cancer prevention through smoking cessation may decelerate as these associated cancer risks will remain. Brain imaging research has identified specific areas of the brain linked to severe nicotine addiction, but up to now there are no effective ways to directly target most of these deeper brain regions. LIFU is a new and safe method to modulate brain functions that can either inhibit overactive activity or restore normal activity levels. The purpose of this study is to provide a novel ultrasound-based neuromodulation strategy for smoking cessation in people who have difficulty to quit smoking despite numerous serious attempts in their lives. This is a Phase 2 study evaluating the positron-emitting radiopharmaceutical 18F-mFBG as an imaging agent for quantification of myocardial sympathetic innervation. The study will examine a group of stable patients with heart failure (HF) from ischemic cardiomyopathy. All subjects will have left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) ≤35% and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICD). The primary objectives of the study will be to: - document the degree to which 18F-mFBG uptake in the heart is reduced (compared to historical controls) - characterize the distribution of regional abnormalities in relation to findings on rest/stress positron-emission tomography (PET) myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) - determine if there are global and/or regional differences in myocardial sympathetic innervation between subjects who have and have not experienced an appropriate ICD activation within the previous 12 months Effectiveness of 18F-mFBG will be judged in relation to historical experience with other nuclear imaging agents for cardiac sympathetic innervation imaging such as a 123I-meta-iodobenzylguanidine (mIBG) and 11C-hydroxyephedrine (HED). Does continuous glucose monitoring improve infant outcomes compared to self-monitoring of blood glucose? 2. Does continuous glucose monitoring improve maternal diabetes control and other maternal outcomes compared to self-monitoring of blood glucose? 3. What other factors increase the risk of maternal and infant complications? Participants will: 1. Use continuous glucose monitoring or self-monitoring of blood glucose to monitor blood sugar control from enrollment until delivery 2. Have blood drawn at enrollment, 24 weeks, 34 weeks and delivery to measure hemoglobin A1c levels and store blood for future analysis 3. Complete surveys about social support, environmental stressors, diabetes distress and glucose monitoring satisfaction at research visits 4. In order to expand neuroscience research and move laboratory advances to patients, there is a need to integrate reliable clinical data with biologic information from patient tissue specimens. The Neuroscience Research Repository (NRR) seeks to meet this need. The NRR is a prospective database and sample bank created to collect information and samples for current and future neuroscience research. The objective of this NRR is to develop a data and sample repository for study of neurological conditions. A repository utilizing standardized electronic health data and samples collected in a uniform manner serves to foster the ability to perform research on current and future projects. Samples and data for clinical, genomic and proteomic analysis will be provided to optimize their value for neuroscience research. The NRR will enroll patients and collect clinically recorded longitudinal data for as long as they are followed by the Neurosurgery service and up to an additional 5 years after being released from care. Patients will be enrolled on admission to the service and samples will be taken at three time points: Time One, within 24 hours of event (preferably first blood draw); Time Two, within 48 hours of event; and Time Three, time of any residual tissue availability. Family members of select groups of patients will also be approached for enrollment. Samples and data will be labeled with a study code to maintain confidentiality. Samples and data will be maintained in secure, limited access environments with back-up/redundancy procedures in place. Sample inventory will be maintained with a bar-coding system. A duty to warn clause will be included in the consent as will the determination of willingness to be re-contacted for future research. Time of sample acquisition to time of sample processing will be documented for quality control purposes. Freezers will be monitored for temperature stability. Recipient investigators will be requested to provide feedback on sample quality. Samples will be distributed to neuroscience investigators after approval from the Neurosurgery Scientific Review Committee - Dissemination Review Committee and the Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects (CPHS). Cancer is a condition where cells in a specific part of body grow and reproduce uncontrollably. The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of for Mirvetuximab Soravtansine in participants with platinum-resistant advanced high-grade epithelial ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer (platinum-resistant ovarian cancer) (PROC) whose tumors express a high level of folate receptor alpha (FRα). Mirvetuximab Soravtansine (MIRV) is an investigational antibody drug conjugate designed to selectively kill cancer cells. The antibody (protein) part of MIRV targets tumors by delivering a cell-killing drug to cancer cells carrying a protein called folate receptor alpha (FRα). There are 2 cohorts in this study, the Randomized Phase 2 Cohort and the Hepatic Impairment Cohort. In the Randomized Phase 2 Cohort, participants are placed in 1 of 2 groups, called treatment arms. Each treatment arm receives MIRV on a different schedule (on day 1 every 21 days or on days 1 and 15 every 28 days). The Hepatic Impairment Cohort is designed to determine the starting dose of MIRV in patients with moderately abnormal liver function. Around 110 participants will be enrolled in the study at approximately 75 sites worldwide. The total study duration will be approximately 24 months. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. The main questions it aims to answer are whether a motivational intervention can: 1. increase the proportion of women detected with a laboratory-confirmed negative phosphatidylethanol (PEth) test during pregnancy, and 2. reduce the proportion of adverse birth outcomes among infants. Participants will be offered (1) a self-paced computer-delivered alcohol reduction intervention to enhance knowledge, norms, and motivation for alcohol reduction and (2) a nurse-delivered component to reinforce the computer-delivered content and address women's questions.
